WinterX™ » West Track Download as iCal file
Sat, February 18, 2012

Lap Battle’s WinterX™ (Wintercross) is a mix of rally, autocross and road racing on the world-famous Miller Motorsports Park road course in Tooele, Utah. WinterX™ combines all aspects of a driver’s skill to navigate a course unlike any other. The conditions of the track are left to nature and the course of the day. Snow, ice, water, slush, dirt, gravel and mud are a few of the conditions that can be encountered. Drivers must anticipate track conditions, speeds and tire choice in order to obtain the title of WinterX™ Champion.

Drivers compete in a time-trial-type format. Winning place standings will be determined by taking three timed hot laps. The driver with the shortest combined time from their two fastest laps, including penalties, will receive first place, and so forth.

Numbers will be required on both sides of the car. Numbers must be a minimum of 12 inches high with a 2-inch stroke.

Unlike Autocross, WinterX™ drivers do NOT have to work the course. Just sit back in a heated room sipping hot coco until your next driving session.

All cars suitable for street, track, SCCA Autocross or MPRA use are allowed. Convertibles must have factory rollover protection as stated in the owner’s manual OR a SCCA Solo II roll bar. Studded snow tires are not permitted.

Seat belts, closed-toe shoes and an SA or M 2000 or newer helmet are required.

Classes:

Street Class: Street Class will consist of 3 sub classes, AWD, RWD and FWD.

Race Class: Race Class will also consist of 3 sub classes, AWD, RWD and FWD.

The cost is $65 including tax.
