Napa Valley, CA (December 1, 2011) — The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce the introduction of the new Utah Region. The Utah Region is centered at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah. Located just 35 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City, Miller Motorsports Park is a state-of-the-art road racing facility for automobiles, motorcycles and karts. It is considered the finest facility of its type in North America.
“We are thrilled to be able to put a regular program in place at Miller Motorsports Park as it is truly one of the premiere tracks in the nation” said Ryan Flaherty, NASA National Chairman. “We had such a great experience at Miller during our 2009 and 2010 National Championship events that this seemed like a perfect expansion of our relationship with the track.”
“Miller Motorsports Park has played host to many of the world's most significant racing series,” said Dan McKeever, Miller Motorsports Park Director of Track Operations and 2010 NASA Spec Miata National Champion. “With the creation of the NASA Utah Region, owners of both racecars and high-performance street-driven vehicles will have even more opportunity to enjoy the full performance capabilities of their cars in a safe and controlled environment.”
