MMP’s biggest event of the year returns on Memorial Day weekend, May 26-28, with the FIM World Superbike BigM Weekend. As has been the case for the past two years, Utah’s Memorial Day tradition will feature motorcycles, music and military tributes with the feature races taking place on Memorial Day Monday, May 28. The FIM Superbike World Championship remains one of the world’s top three racing championships, with races being broadcast live over 97 television networks to 176 countries with each race being seen by 120 million viewers. The BigM Weekend will be the only appearance in the Western Hemisphere for the FIM Superbike World Championship. Support races for the weekend will be announced in the near future.
The Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series returns for its third visit to MMP on June 23-24, and for the second year will race on the new Off Road Short Course that was specifically designed for them. Fans have warmly embraced the high-flying, action-packed competition offered by the Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series, and the racers have been very complimentary of the new course and the enthusiastic reception offered by Utah fans. The weekend will also include the fourth annual CruiserFest, a gathering for aficionados of the iconic Toyota Land Cruiser.
