Nick Ienatsch heads up the team of instructors that includes #1 plate holders, class champions, club champions, track-record holders and national champions such as Ken Hill, Dale Keiffer, Shane Turpin and Mark Schellinger. What sets these coaches apart is their ability to teach at any level the student rides, at whatever lap time, aimed at whatever goal that student has.
As has been customary since the motorcycle riding school’s inception, Yamaha Motorcycles will continue to provide championship-winning “guest instructors” for many of the motorcycle riding school dates. Previous guest instructors have included 2009 Superbike Motorcycle World Champion and 2010 MotoGP Rookie of the Year Ben Spies; five-time Daytona 200 and 1993 Superbike Motorcycle World Champion Scott Russell; 2008 Superbike World Champion James Toseland; 2010-2011 AMA American Superbike Champion, 2003 AMA Superstock Champion and 2006-2007 AMA Formula Xtreme Motorcycle Riding Champion Josh Hayes; 1998 AMA Superbike Motorcycle Riding Champion, 2001 World Superbike motorcycle multi-race winner, 2004 AMA Supermoto Champion and X-Games Supermoto Gold Medalist and 2008 AMA Supersport Motorcycle Champion Ben Bostrom; 2010 AMA Daytona 200 winner Josh Herrin; and two-time AMA Supermoto Lites Champion Brandon Currie. All of these guest instructors have added expertise and knowledge to the motorcycle riding school — the Yamaha Champions Riding School — at Miller Motorsports Park.
