Minor Karting Requirements

Children aged 8-12

Basic requirements for Junior Kart Rentals

  • Must be Age 8-12 & at least 51” tall
  • Children in this age group are only allowed to use our Junior Karts
  • Must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
  • Karters will receive a safety briefing at each visit before karting.
  • Our Staff will allow only the Jr. Karts out with their own group (i.e. the party they came with) and not with a general group. This is done for safety reasons
  • Karters must where a rib protector whenever on track

The Waiver and Check-in Process

  • Karters must register and/or check in at each visit.
  • Karters must have a Minor Waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian.
  • This waiver must be completed on-site, unless you complete the Annual Minor Waiver in advance (see below)
Annual Minor Waiver
May be completed in advance with Notary Signature

Do you want to send your child to the Kart Center with a completed minor waiver so you don't have to be at the track to sign the standard Minor Waiver? You can—but you must use this form: Annual Minor Waiver Download. This waiver is good for the calendar year and can be completed in advance with a notary witness and sent with your child. Once completed you will not have to worry about about completing waivers again for the rest of the calendar year.

Clothing & Gear:

  • Full-faced helmet, balaclava and neck collar
  • MMP supplies this gear, you don’t need to bring your own
  • Closed-toed shoes (rental shoes available)
  • Sandals, flip flops and high heels will not be allowed
  • Long hair must be secured
  • Necklaces, lanyards, scarfs, etc., cannot be hanging outside of shirt
  • Full-length pants are HIGHLY recommended
  • Long-sleeved shirts are HIGHLY recommended
  • Gloves are HIGHLY recommended
