Chief Instructor: Dan McKeever
Dan's two decades of race and performance driving credentials have seen his involvement with virtually every auto manufacturer and major roles at several other schools before he was named Director of the Miller Performance Training Center in 2006.
From his experience Dan crafted a curriculum that effectively incorporates the best elements of instructional technique, ultimately making the time you invest in any of our programs more rewarding.
And, though busy with his management of performance driving schools, Dan also manages occasionally to make himself at home on the race track, winning the 2000 Legends Car National Championship, competing in Grand Am Koni Challenge and leading the 2008 25 Hours of Thunder Hill by a two lap margin - until mechanical failure denied overall victory with only a half-hour remaining.
Such experiences on the track only add to the depth of his understanding of all things motor sport.
Cindi Lux
Cindi began her racing career in a Dodge Shelby Charger at Willow Springs in 1988...and 12 road-racing championships, 81 victories, 150-plus podium finishes and nearly 50 pole positions later, her obvious talent makes her an ideal choice to guide our school participants to becoming better drivers.
As a factory-supported Dodge Viper team driver in Speed World Challenge GT, and as a regular competitor in American Le Mans, Grand Am, IMSA and other top-tier national series, this 1999 Women's Global GT Series champion has the accumulated experience you'd wish for in a professional driving instructor.
And not only that, her wealth of racing knowledge is well-complimented by a notably pleasant demeanor, meaning you're guaranteed to enjoy everything you learn from her that much more.

Kenny Johnson
From racing Formula 3000 in Europe to competing in IndyCars here in the U.S., Kenny has maintained a long and busy career in motor sports.
A consummate professional whose expertise is often tapped as a private coach to up-and-coming young drivers in the Formula Atlantic series, Kenny is a master of distilling the complex and technical side of racing into easily understood terms.
All of our students benefit from his ability to assess technique and offer the simplest, clearest solutions to help them go faster, sooner.
Melanie Snow
As an equal partner in the only husband-wife team ever to share a class victory in the prestigious 12 Hours of Sebring, Melanie is both an incredible driving and teaching talent.
Following her racing baptism in Porsche club events, she progressed through sanctioned series like American Le Mans Women's Global GT, SCCA Pro World Challenge and IMSA, taking some time off along the way to accomplish no small feat outside the racing cockpit - having four children.
Not slowing a step on her return, she currently leads the 2009 points battle in Porsche GT3 Gold Cup and scored double class victories at the recent American Le Mans weekend here at Miller.
Joe Foster and Charles Espenlaub
Charles' ability as a race car driver has earned him factory support and regular competitive appearances in Speed World Challenge, Grand Am and Historic Sports Car for the better part of a decade.
With numerous poles, podiums and race wins on his resume, we're delighted when this in-demand driver has a rare schedule opening that allows his participation in our schools - because he's also a terrific teacher.
Charles Putman
This gentleman racer didn't begin his driving career until age 41 - but he made a fast start.
Over the last seven years Charles has competed strongly in Speed World Challenge, Grand Am Koni Challenge and the Panoz Pro GT Championship, as well as SCCA and NASA. He's also one of those naturally gifted, athletic people who excel at absolutely all things they attempt. Performance driving instruction is no exception.
Interestingly, Charles went on to take the overall win in the 2008 25 Hours of Thunder Hill - drawing the friendly ire of Chief Instructor Dan McKeever.
Bob Read
A former motorcycle racer and owner of an independent track-day company that specializes in focused driver education, Bob competes mostly on four wheels these days in his Porsche GT3 Cup car in NASA and Club events.
An excellent source of performance driving instruction and a quick driver in his own right, Bob can help any student rapidly expand his or her potential.
