MAJOR EVENTS/
HANNspree FIM SUPERBIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2010
The HANNspree FIM Superbike World Championship, accompanied by the FIM Supersport World Championship, will descend on Miller Motorsports Park over the weekend of May 29-31, 2010. The weekend will be an action-packed celebration of two-wheeled competition for fans, with double-header races for the HANNspree FIM Superbike World Championship.
GRAND-AM ROLEX SPORTS CAR SERIES/NASCAR K&N Pro Series West
The Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series brings its 200mph Daytona Prototype and GT cars back to Miller Motorsports Park for their season finale on Saturday, which should be a no-holds-barred, winner-take all battle for championship honors in both classes. Then, on Sunday, the thundering stock cars of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series (formerly the Camping World Series) West take to the track.
LUCAS OIL OFF-ROAD SERIES
Miller Motorsports Park is adding the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series to its schedule of major events for 2010. The series, which was created in 2008, is an example of what is known as “short-course off-road racing,” in which two- and four-wheel-drive trucks and off-road buggies race on man-made dirt circuits comprised of straights, whoops, jumps and corners. At Miller Motorsports Park, a new race circuit will be constructed in the infield of the southeast corner of the racetrack, located between Tooele Turn and Clubhouse Turn, specifically for this event.
AMERICAN LE MANS SERIES
The American Le Mans Series returns to Miller Motorsports Park for the fourth consecutive year with the most exotic, high-tech sports cars on the planet, piloted by some of the world's best drivers.
The 2010 Larry H. Miller Dealerships Utah Grand Prix sees the event move from mid-May to mid-July, and will be the first track time for many of the teams following the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, which takes place in mid-June.
